Weekend with Jason

Tony and Abbie are away at Camp Seagull for their YGuides Spring Outing. Jason and I have kept ourselves busy. We have gone on 3 bike rides so far, in which Jason has begun to learn about getting up hills, watching out for other pedestrians and cars, and maintaining control of his bike away from the comfort of our cul de sac. We made it around most of the neighborhood several times and explored the new tunnel area under Morrisville Parkway.

This morning, we picked almost 6 pounds of strawberries at Phillips Farm in Cary, followed by a dramatic haircut for Jason (It was time! He's a heavy sweater in hot weather!).

We also have been doing some house cleaning and prep for the flooring company to come in and fix up our hardwoods. Jason likes to vacuum, although his efficiency is questionable!

We met Stephanie and Andrew for lunch and playtime at Chick Fil A, a welcome break from "just the two of us" today.
Tomorrow, I've promised biscuits for breakfast with our berries. Then we will be doing some experimental baking and heading to the pool for Jason's swim lesson.
I've been staying up late working on editing our Disney pictures and making a memory book. It's totally overwhelming because of the quantity of pictures, so it's slow going. Having Tony gone is usually the only way I ever get this kind of work done, but I really miss him and Abbie, and can't wait for them to come home!
