We've been counting down for months and the big day finally arrived! This morning we left our house before 6:00am to catch a plane to Orlando. We checked into the Caribbean Beach Resort by 10:30am and were in the Animal Kingdom by 11:30am. Guest service was fantastic, making the start of our vacation very pleasant.
In Animal Kingdom today, highlights included meeting several characters, seeing the live Lion King Show, taking the Kilamanjaro Safari, and a delicious multi-cultural feast at Tusker House with Donald Duck & friends. Seriously, the food was amazing!! My favorite dishes included roasted pork shoulder with spicy mustard sauce, pearl couscous with basil, and curried chicken with mango chutney.

Just as she did on the Disney Cruise two years ago, Abbie has such a love for the characters. Here she is telling Goofy "I love you" in sign language. I can't wait to see what magic tomorrow brings!
