Disney World: Day 4

Another magical day!!  After three very eventful days, we started this day off nice and easy. We slept in (till 8!) and took our sweet time getting showered and dressed for breakfast. After a late breakfast, we took a leisurely stroll around the resort, stopping for the kids to put their toes in the sand and to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

When Grandma and Grandpa left for the next leg of their trip, we donned our bathing suits and headed to the pool. The water was nice and warm! The kids tried out the water sides and we splashed around for and hour or so, then cleaned up for a late lunch and caught the bus to Magic Kingdom. There we net up with our friends and neighbors, the Camerons (their daughter Liya is in Abbie's class), who just happen to be at Disney this week, too.

It was fun to spend a little time with them riding the teacups and watching Mickey's Philharmagic. The girls will have fun telling their class about it when they return to school.

After that, we had a failed attempt at riding Space Mountain. They shut down for "a Meteor Shower" (aka technical difficulties), which freaked Jason out. So we got treats instead and ride the People Mover. There was also an Incredibles dance party that we enjoyed.

When Space mountain reopened, Abbie and I rode and had an utter blast, while Jason and Tony drive on the Tomorrowland Speedway.

We all rode Buzz Lightyear space ranger spin after that then took the Monorail  to Epcot for the IllumiNations fireworks show. I was surprised at how unimpressed the kids were with the Monorail. But the show was cool and I'm glad we did it!

Tomorrow should be another easy day, then Tony's parents arrive and we will shift into high gear for more adventures!
