Peace upon earth!

In other words, there are two kids napping in my house right now!  This almost NEVER happens anymore, so I figured it was worth a post.  We've been having lots of fun recently, with fewer tantrums, and I even have some pictures to share!

Abbie and Jason are becoming more and more like "brother and sister".  They play together, snuggle together, and giggle at each other.  It's pretty darn cute!

Last Sunday, we had our neighbor, Heather, along with her son and mother, over for for a waffle breakfast.  The kids (including Tony!) had a great time playing together after breakfast.  Heather's mom is a retired teacher and the kids loved playing with her, too!

Later that morning, we took our kiddos up to the Museum of Life and Science for some fresh air and exploration.  This has recently become my go-to place because we can be outside for a bit, then go inside and keep playing when it gets to be too cold.  The kids will probably get sick of the museum soon, so I'm glad warmer weather is around the corner.  Park-hopping is on my spring agenda!
Abbie started an intense game of hide-and-seek.  It got to the point where she was insisting that the seeker count to 107... then 108... then 109...

Oh, did I mention that Abbie got a haircut a couple of weeks ago?  I can't remember!  But, I think it's pretty cute!  With all the different lengths and broken pieces in her hair, it was definitely time for a cut.

Jason enjoys trying to go potty (he has peed in it a couple of times), but he got creative this past week.  Shouldn't everyone have a footrest for their toilet??

More brother-sister time.  They sure do love cuddling with Daddy.  But when it comes to bedtime, Abbie almost always now insists on Mommy putting her down, and Jason wants Daddy.   Luckily, that works out pretty well!

Henry was over for an afternoon this week, and Jason set them up for a tea party.  I really never expected to see two boys having a tea party together, but they did!  They even poured drinks for each other and shared snacks.

Peek-a-boo, Henry!

Today, we hit up the museum again, this time with our neighbor, Becky, and her son, Ryan.  Wish i had pix, but I didn't bring a camera.  I almost went and got it at home, though, just to take a picture of my sweet children both sleeping in the back of the car.  But, hey, you got a blog post about it.  Take my word, the sound of silence is particularly beautiful today!
