12 hours later... I think I have completed making a list of everything that I currently think we need for the baby. Seriously, it took 12 hours on the computer today to make this happen. I preceded the shopping process with reading "Baby Bargains" cover to cover, taking notes and underlining like they taught me to do in middle school. The book was very helpful!
I really made this registry to help Tony when he has to go to the store by himself or with a friend to buy stuff that we need. I am pretty sure we won't be doing a shower since I'm confined to bed. So, I tried to be incredibly thorough for Tony... everything except the stroller/car seat stuff, which he will have to shop for and choose on his own. I think that's one of those things you really have to go to the store and play with, touch, push around, pick up, etc.
I thought I was going to register at Babies R Us and Target, because people keep saying how Target is so much cheaper, but everything I was looking for was either exactly the same price at Target or only available online there. So, other than diapers, wipes, etc, everything will be coming from Babies R Us.
Tony was slightly less than enthused when I showed him the list. He was pretty worn out from his ride with Jason and Dominic today, so I guess I can forgive him. I'm just jealous that he is the one that gets to go out in a month or two and play in the baby store! I'm a little nervous to wait too long on the shopping in case this baby decides to make an early appearance. This has been foreshadowed by the doctor: "I wouldn't be surprised if she arrives May 11, and would still be happy if she comes in April." April???? OH MY!
Anyway, my dear laptop has gotten its workout for the day. I am going to vow to shut it down now and not turn it on again until tomorrow when Tony goes to work! Another weight lifted from my shoulders, and more incentive to relax for the night.

I checked out your registry...very cute stuff! I love all the frogs!
You can still have a shower!! You will just have to be on the couch while we loom around you and make you open gifts and feed you cake! But only if you want one...
Also, APRIL!!? That is crazy! But good to hear that the doctor would be fine with an April birth. Gotta love those spring babies!
Love to Tony. I will be calling soon about the next time I can come down to hang out and help out.
Much love,
Laura B
