Happy Birthday, Dad!

Dad turned 58 yesterday! Happy Birthday!

Mom made a very nice dinner -- grilled chicken, veggies and more -- and served a sinful dessert of Dulce de Leche cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. I think Dad got jealous that I had one for my birthday, so he got one, too! It was good nonetheless.

My birthday card came with this lovely pin: "I've survived damn near everything." It was a lame joke on his ripe age, but Dad points out that he's actually had quite a good life with few major obstacles. That's because he was lucky not to have triplets of me to raise!! :)
