Great Things

My students have impressed me yet again! We have had a really fabulous couple of weeks in the Chorus department. All of my advanced ensembles have performed at a District Choral Festival and received Superior ratings. The Women's Choir got scores of 97 and 98 last week, and my middle schoolers earned scores of 98 and 99 today!
We also had a very successful concert in a beautiful church last Friday. Hopefully, I'll be able to figure out how to post sound clips sometime soon!
Tonight, we opened our school musical "Crazy for You". Again, my students amaze me with their ability to perform, even when the pit isn't quite with them. They pulled off a very respectable performance tonight, which I'm sure will get better every show this weekend. The audience seemed to really enjoy the humor in the show, so I guess it was a hit!
