Gift highlights included Athleta clothes for me, a very nice cornhole set for Tony, beading and weaving crafts for Abbie, and a Spider-Man figurine and science experiments for Jason.
We enjoyed spending time with everyone that evening, and the kids had a blast in the basement and playing Pie in the Face with their cousins. They stayed up super late again, but the bonding time with their cousins was totally worth it.
We completed our trip with a third and final party at the Spilmans' house (Tony's cousin) Saturday night. I don't know how the kids made it through all the late nights (thank goodness they slept in!), but I'm very grateful for all of the time qe had together. It's awesome to see how much the kids have grown up. They are pretty self sufficient at parties now and have so much fun with their cousins.
We are driving home now... Another long one. Had to take a decent break for dinner (we slept in and left pretty late this morning), but are now on the homestretch. Pretty sure I'm going to crash when we arrive!
