We had an early Christmas with my parents this past weekend. I love that we can split Christmas gift-giving up a bit so it's not do overwhelming for the kids, and they get to enjoy their gifts and more one-on-one time with family. For this Christmas weekend, we visited Hillridge Farms to see the awesome lights display. They do a hayride through their fields and the music is set to match the various displays. We also played lots of ping-pong in our basement and opened presents, of course. The biggest hits were Abbie's pink guitar and Jason's walkie talkies, which he quickly shared with Abbie so they can play together.
We also announced our upcoming trip to Disney World. I think the kids are excited, but don't have even half a clue as to how awesome the trip is going to be!
The kids also showed off their skills for Grandma and Grandpa. Abbie gave a piano recital, and Jason read books (he just learned to read in the last couple of weeks).
