Fancy kitchen

Who knew selling your house meant putting in tons of new stuff (and work) that you're not really going to get to enjoy?  I guess when you only put the bare standard options in your new construction home, this is what has to be done to appeal to the masses who will hopefully traipse through our home, fall in love with it, and start a bidding war, making us tens of thousands of dollars extra off our house sale.  Just kidding.  But, really, it's possible, right?

Well, today's big project was the kitchen.  We had granite countertops installed to replace our formica.  Then, we installed (with some help) new-used stainless steel appliances.  Finally, into our shiny new sink, Tony (with my help) installed a new pull-out sprayer faucet.  I think it looks great.  And my biggest consolation is that I will be enjoying quite similar, and slightly better, amenities in our new home in about 6 months.  Otherwise, I'd probably be crying right now...
