One of the perks of having out-of-town family and lots of good friends is that you get to do a lot of celebrating around birthday time. This year, I introduced Abbie to the concept of the "Birthday Week". We began the week by celebrating with Nana & PopPop on Sunday. We may continue tomorrow, if we make it to music class, because the music teacher always sings a special song when a child has a birthday. Then, there'll be a little celebration at Abbie's school on Thursday (cookies!), a family celebration at home on Friday (her actual birthday) with spaghetti and chocolate cake, a party with most of Abbie's friends at the park on Saturday (cupcakes!), and finally a celebration with Grandma and Grandpa Saturday night. What a lucky girl! Maybe next year I'll teach her about the "Birthday Month"!
In addition to celebrating Abbie's 4th birthday this week, we are also excited about the birthdays of two of Abbie's friends: Cooper, who turns 1 on Wednesday; and Kaylee, who turns 4 on Thursday.
Wishing these cuties all VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAYS!
