Today, we had a delicious lunch at the home of Craig (Tony's assistant) and Lauren. They made grilled chicken with seasoned potatoes, (not) fried zuchinni, and honeyed carrots, and chocolate pie for dessert. The kids gobbled it up (as did we)... Jason even ate the carrots, which he has refused the last 10 times we've served them! We got a tour of their awesome new house and got to experience their 3D TV.
After lunch, Tony, Abbie, Jason, and I headed to Crowder Park in Cary. I've been wanting to check this place out since I read about it on the Stir Crazy Moms blog, but have hesitated to drag the all the way out there without being totally sure what we would find. Turns out, it was a nice little park. The playgrounds left a little something to be desired, but we had fun walking the half-mile trail that looped around the pond. Jason made it his mission to collect as many rocks, sticks, acorns, and gumballs as possible. And Abbie played out her role as Rapunzel from Tangled. FYI- Tony is now "Eugene" (Rapunzel's love interest) and Jason is now "Pascal" (Rapunzel's chameleon friend), while I am forevermore "Mother" (the evil old woman who stole Rapunzel from her crib and hid her away in a tower for 18 years). Awesome.

Wow! 72 in January! We're lucky if it hits 65 in July here
