A little advice for other moms-to-be: Don't read Jodi Picoult's Handle With Care before your ultrasound. After becoming absorbed in the intriguing story of a child with osteogenesis imperfecta, especially the fact that this horrible disease was diagnosed during the 20wk ultrasound, I was just a little paranoid about what we would find out yesterday. Lucky for us, everything looks fabulous and as far as we know, this little boy is perfectly healthy.

We had a mom pregnant with an OI baby last month on OB; very interesting to learn about delivery recommendations, and I did read that book!
