- Abigail successfully latched on to both sides yesterday! This is a first. She latched on to my right side last week and I practically threw a party, because it means we are getting closer to the time when I can stop pumping constantly and making bottles twice a day. It's still a bit of a struggle to get her to stay on, but we're going to keep working at it. She's getting stronger every day, so I hope this process will get easier over the next week or two.
- Last night we were having a lovely bath. Abigail was a little sleepy, so no crying involved. Just as I was finishing lathering her hair, she managed to surprise all three of us with a massive explosion! Yep, time to re-bathe... and clean the tub! The girl sure does know how to create a surprise. Needless to say, the rest of the bath involved pretty serious crying. I think she surprised herself more than us!
- This morning I went to the gym for about the 4th time since, well, since January 28. But the accomplishment is that I followed it with a stroller walk in the neighborhood. I walked about a mile or so. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but for someone who hasn't hardly moved in months, it was tiring!
