Just to update everyone a little... we are now in Baltimore. I did marathon laundry and packing Friday night and finished the next morning. It took us about 7 hours to get up here on Saturday (usually a 5.5 hr drive). The kitties were amazing in the car. They basically stayed up front with us the whole way. Roxie loves the center console, and Chrissy likes to sit in the passenger's lap.
The kitties are now staying in the Delauney's basement during the day and in our bedroom at night. We visit them throughout the day, and they hang out with us at night. I do feel bad that they are all alone down there, but they just can't be up with the dog, having not had the right vaccinations and having never been with dogs before.
Tony had contracted a "serious" cold... as we know, all illnesses are "serious" with men. He obliged by taking medicine the first two days, but now wishes to suffer through it. The poor boy did not sleep well last night (neither did I), so hopefully this thing will pass by soon!
We are now counting down to exciting events for the rest of vacation...
2 days till Christmas Eve -- party and Jason and Beth's house
3 days till Christmas Day -- party at the Delauney house
4 days till Mom and Dad visit us at home
6 days till London -- I think we can handle traveling with teenagers, if it means getting to go to London for a week!!

hey! i am flying into DC ON xmas, arriving around 8 pm that night. staying w/ my parents until sunday around 5p.m. i think it will be a stretch to get to baltimore to see you guys, but will thinking of you and your proximity. maybe we can chat as we'll be in the same time zone! merry xmas!! love, tara
