Full Moon Strikes Again

Does anyone else find that they suffer from stress or feelings of disarray around the time of the full moon?  It happens to my family every cycle!  I remember being a teacher and always noting that the students were particularly rowdy during the full moon, but now I'm witnessing this phenomenon unfold with my family.

It's about a 4-day event for us most full moons.  Sometimes, we escape with only minor issues.  But, for most full moons, the kids' misbehavior and moodiness begins to ramp up about 2 days before the full moon, and it takes them another day or two to settle down after.

This week was NO JOKE.  Jason, the most volatile of our family members, seems to have fared the worst this time.  We endured tantrum after tantrum, refusal to go to school, several potty accidents, and all-around general moodiness.  Abbie exhibited particularly fragile emotions, resulting in piles of tears over the tiniest things.  I found myself dropping and spilling things, and Tony also seemed particularly out of sorts.

I am really looking forward to the end of the weekend in hopes that all of us will have settled out of this funk and get back to "normal"... whatever that is!
