Happy Holly Days

You know it's been too long since you've posted on your blog when your Grandma calls your mom complaining that there are no new updates! Sorry! I have slowly been working on a more thoughtful post, but it will just have to wait because things have been too busy.

In its place, here's a look back at last weekend's Happy Holly Days Parade. We traveled all the way to Holly Springs to see a Christmas Parade, because we missed all of the other town parades (including Durham's) due to being too busy and our unwillingness to go outside in the frigid sleet the previous weekend. The Holly Springs parade was cute, though a bit sparse (to be expected of a small town event), and served its purpose of putting us in the Christmas mood.
Abbie dons her new coat from Kathy and is ready to brave the cold.

Old men recklessly driving miniature race cars.
I was pretty sure one of them was going to crash into the crowd.

These women were seriously doing Jazzercise as they paraded down the street.

The tooth's helpers threw out about 100 toothbrushes in the first 25 feet of the parade.
You wouldn't believe how fast the kids rushed to grab them all!

SANTA!!! SANTA!!! SANTA!!!
