Baby Abs and other accomplishments

This morning, Abigail and I were sitting in the chair in the living room. She was laying on my legs, facing me as we watched the Today show. And, randomly, she began to make movements that reminded me of my morning in the gym. Yep! Miss Abigail was doing crunches! I offered her my fingers to hold on to, and sure enough, she sat herself up. I swear I didn't pull her up or anything. It was very exciting, and she got in a full workout (about 10 times sitting up)!

Other recent developments...
  • This weekend we got full out open mouth laughs. She is also continuing to converse with us more often using oos and ahs.
  • We have readjusted the Ca-Razy sleep schedule that she made for herself 2 weeks ago (staying up WAY late and sleeping in every morning). We're back to a normal bedtime around 8pm, get up around 7am. Did I mention that is 11 hours of sleep? LOVE IT!
  • Abigail has also begun to pay attention to toys placed in front of her. She's trying to figure out how to bat at the snail dangling on her bouncer, and I got her to inspect a stuffed caterpillar on her chest, too.

Our 4-month check up is on Wednesday, so we should have some updates on height, weight, etc soon. She'll also be getting vaccinations (boo!), which means we may be hibernating the rest of the day.
